5. Description
NORCLAM CEFO 500 is a high-potency combination antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It combines Cefuroxime (a second-generation cephalosporin that stops bacterial growth) with Clavulanic Acid (a beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacteria from breaking down the antibiotic). This combination is effective against “resistant” bacteria that might otherwise survive treatment with Cefuroxime alone. It is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and skin/soft tissue infections.
